10/22 Lunchtime Conversation focuses on BOLD

This is a reminder that the next Lunchtime Conversation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, from noon-1:15 p.m. in the Employee Lounge in the ground floor of Liberal Arts.

This conversation will address a question that has arisen in several different discussions of the BOLD project: Where’s the “urban” in our Urban Leadership principles? That is, there is agreement that the principles are excellent statements of leadership that are well in harmony with our liberal arts mission. However, the question at hand is how these principles specifically relate to urban leadership. This is an issue that has been raised by a number of people. This discussion will give us the chance to do some focused thinking urban-bridgeabout clarifying this question. Jane Hammang-Buhl will facilitate the conversation.

Please plan to join us, and invite colleagues and students who would be interested in this timely and important subject.

Refreshments provided.

Hope to see you there on Tuesday!!!!
