Marygrove College announced today its recognition as a Veteran-Friendly School by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA), a state government agency that connects veterans and their families to employment, education, health care and quality-of-life services throughout the state.
“At Marygrove, we know how critical it is for veterans and their families to have access to an affordable, career-enhancing education,” said Assistant Director of Admissions Steven Coddington. “Just as important, though, is a support system—something we are proud to say that we offer all of our veteran students.”
Marygrove College currently holds the MVAA’s Bronze-level status for veteran-centric services and programs such as veterans GI Benefits Assistance, access to a veteran-specific web portal, spouse and family support, competitive financial aid packages, an on-campus veteran’s lounge, and a designated point of contact for student veterans.
