TOMORROW: Grammy-Award Winning Artist, Rhiannon Giddens, Stops by Marygrove

imageGrammy-award winning artist, Rhiannon Giddens will stop by Marygrove tomorrow (Weds Oct 14th) as she makes her way to the next stop of her “Tomorrow is My Turn” album tour.

Lead singer of the Caroline Chocolate Drops and member of the New Basement Tapes with Elvis Costello and Marcus Mumford, Rhiannon’s outstanding resume includes performances on the Hunger Games soundtrack, at the White House Gospel Celebration, and on talk shows such as Jimmy Fallon, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel and David Letterman. Tomorrow at 12:30pm, she will make an impromptu visit to the Marygrove campus to share stories of her journey as a musician and to perform some of her fantastic music. All are welcome — free admission!
