We would like to invite you to an evening of senior seminar presentations for the Winter 2015 section of BUS 496B, Diversity in Management. Over this term, the BUS496 class has examined and discussed the changing dynamic of multicultural management in business, identifying management skills that are essential for success. After consideration of some of the more compelling challenges in the work environment today, students chose research topics that address leadership skills, discriminatory practices and potential solutions, as well as immigration policy and practices.
We welcome you to join us. Junior and senior Business majors are welcome, too. Our class meets in LA 233. The presentations will begin at 6:30 pm.
“Hispanic Women in Leadership Roles”
“The Wage Gap between Men & Women: The Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act
“Discrimination in the Business World: Focus on Epilepsy”
“An Examination of U.S. Immigration Policy in the Context of Business & Labor Unions”
