Co-Creating Community (CCC) is a community-centered, “dialogue-into-action” initiative in northwest Detroit that is supported by Marygrove College. CCC will meet on Tuesday, January 27, at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Dining Room. Please join us!
During our sessions neighbors co-create opportunities to amplify activities that enhance community living and life! We desire to go deeper as we demonstrate and communicate the importance each person is to a neighbor’s vision for the good. Previous activities have identified and affirmed neighbors’ skills, histories, and value. Mutual community work—providing various support for family survivors of domestic violence, helping host a rotating shelter for homeless people, cleaning up a lot, and researching/responding to local needs are some concrete activities which have flowed from these sharings.
Come out and support our community’s future with your ingenuity, heart and energy to do something for the good in “right now” time.
If you plan to join us, please email Sr. Barbara Beesley at or leave a message at (313) 927-1403, so that we know how many to plan for. Many thanks!
