Reading and Book Signing by Two Marygrove Authors: Nov. 6th

Nov. 6 Book SigningJoin us this Thursday as Marygrove College celebrates the publication of recent books by two members of the Marygrove College community with a reception and book signing.

Dr. Michael Martin, assistant professor of English and co-director of the Geschke Writing Center, will discuss and read from two new works. The first, Meditations in Times of Wonder (Angelico Press 2014), is a book of poems that have been called “postmodern metaphysical.” A second book, Literature and the Encounter with God in Post-Reformation England (Ashgate 2014), is a work of literary criticism.

Dr. Donald Levin, Dean of the Faculty, will discuss his new novel, The Baker’s Men (Poison Toe Press 2014), the second book in his Martin Preuss series of mysteries set in and around Ferndale.

All three books will be offered for sale. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
