Opening Mass of the Holy Spirit, September 16

Opening Mass of Holy SpiritOn Tuesday, September 16 the College will gather at Noon in the Sacred Heart Chapel within the Liberal Arts Building to celebrate the Opening Mass of the Holy Spirit. All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to be a part of this tradition in which we ask God’s blessings and gifts of wisdom and discernment at the beginning of the new academic year and as we welcome our new students to the Marygrove community.

We will welcome Father J.J. Mech, Pastor of St. Anastasia Parish, Troy, and founder of Art for God’s Sake, as celebrant.

The Mass will be followed by LUNCH on the LAWN. If at all possible, I would ask that afternoon classes be given a “grace period” – beginning at 1:45 p.m. (rather than 1:30 p.m.) so all of our students can join in this special gathering of the Marygrove community.
