A Festival of Black History Begins Feb. 27

the colors of our experienceThe Connecting to the Grove Program and the Office of Student Involvement,  Leadership and Greek Affairs, would like to invite you to attend the Black History Festival: The Colors of Our Experience. The event will be held in the Madame Cadillac Building – Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014 in Alumni Hall and Denk Chapman from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Stop in at any time. Please see the attached flyer for more details.

Schedule of Events
11:00 a.m. – 2:00p.m.: MLK Film project screening (will show every ½ hour in Denk Chapman).
11:30 a.m.– 11:45 a.m.: Dance performance by Marygrove’s College Dance Company (Alumni Hall)
12:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m.: Soul Food Hors D’oeuvres (Alumni Hall)
12:00p.m. -1:30 p.m.: Spoken Word Artists (Alumni Hall)
1:30p.m. -1:45 p.m.: Dance performance by Marygrove’s College Dance Company (Alumni Hall)

Art Displays by Marygrove’s own Angie Allen can be seen in Alumni Hall throughout the event.
