Participate in the MLK Film Project 2014: Retelling the Dream

martin_luther_kingThe Department of Student Development invites you to retell the dream by participating in MLK Film Project 2014: Retelling the Dream.

What is it?
The 2014 film project is giving every Marygrove student, faculty and staff member an opportunity to retell the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King. Ongoing lines excerpted from Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech will be performed, filmed and edited by you! Everyone who participates will be featured in the final film. The film will debut during the Black History Festival coming in February.

When is the filming?

  • Tuesday, January 21
    12:00-4:00 p.m.

  • Wednesday, January 22
    9:30-11:30 a.m.
    1:30-3:30 p.m.

Where is the filming?
Filming will take place in the Green and Gold Room of the Student Center Building

What will you need?
Nothing-just bring yourself. All excerpts will be provided for you.
