Educational Technology Services is happy to announce the return of the monthly technology forum “Appy Hour.” The purpose of this forum is to provide a space where ALL members of the Marygrove community can share information on productivity, educational and just plain fun applications for both mobile and desktop environments.
One of our Technical Training Specialists, Robert D. Tompkins, will offer a demonstration of Windows 8. Windows 8 is the new operating system from Microsoft. Windows 8 introduces significant changes to the operating system’s graphical user interface and platform, such as a new interface design incorporating a new design language used by other Microsoft products, a new Start screen to replace the Start menu used by previous versions of Windows along with other useful features.
“Appy Hour” is happening on Wednesday, September 18th at 2:00pm in the STICC
Library (Lower Level, Room L011).
