If you have not already done so, please take a moment to nominate a colleague you believe has made a valuable contribution to Marygrove’s Mission of Commitment, Competence and Compassion. For your convenience, listed below is a brief description of what each award represents.
The award winners will be announced during our annual Employee Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, May 1st at 3:30 in Alumni Hall. Please note the deadline for receipt of nomination information is Monday, April 22, 2013.
INNOVATION AWARD (Competence)
Innovation Award is given to an individual who has developed, introduced or implemented a new method, idea, program, process, procedure and/or technique that aids in fostering competency, compassion and commitment.
SERVICE AWARD (Commitment)
Service Award is given to an individual who voluntarily offers him/herself for service undertaken willingly and without pay on or off-campus. The actions and engagement of Service Award winners aid in furthering and sustaining the mission of the college.
ADVOCACY AWARD (Compassion)
Advocacy Award is given to an individual who champions fervently on behalf of others; recognizing and responding to the social, economic and/or educational adversities, injustices and disparities. This person takes action to speak for those without voice, to teach those without knowledge, and to remove barriers to create equality for all.
