It is that time of year when we seek to honor students for the Iota Gamma Alpha Award. This award goes to students who demonstrate leadership, outstanding volunteer services to the College and the community by participating in college functions, student organizations, academic activities and service to the community during the academic year.
The students eligible for this award exemplify the C’s – Competence, Commitment and Compassion – throughout their journey as Marygrove students while maintaining the required 3.5 cumulative GPA, or higher. If you know students who meet this criteria, please nominate them to be recognized at the 2013 Honors Convocation to be held on Sunday, March 24, 2013 in the Sacred Heart Chapel.
While primary nominators in the past have been faculty and staff, students may also nominate other students (they may not nominate themselves). I have included more information on the award and the nomination process in this email. Please see the attachments.
The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.
