The International Association of Blacks in Dance hosted a conference in Washington, DC the weekend of January 25, 2013.

Callie Munn, an Institute of Music & Dance scholarship student, performed at the Kennedy Center with the Renaissance High School Dance troupe under the direction of Gina Ellis.

Renaissance High School students regularly attend IMD outreach master classes as well as classes during the summer Festival of Dance.

ATTENTION FACULTY/STAFF:

The Marygrove College HONORS CONVOCATION 2013 will take place on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Sacred Heart Chapel.

ACADEMIC ATTIRE is REQUIRED for all faculty and staff participating in the Academic PROCESSION – Honors, Baccalaureate and Commencement.  

If you order academic regalia for Honors Convocation, you may keep and use the attire through Commencement.

To order academic attire, please go to our Marygrove Bookstore BEFORE Monday Feb. 18, 2013 for Honors Convocation (or April 8, 2013 for Commencement only)

Rentals usually arrive a week prior to the event (plenty of time to steam/press :+) and can be picked up in the Bookstore.

Sophomore forward Kevin Dunaj (Warren, Mich./Cousino) capped off a brilliant week by posting 18 points on 6-for-8 shooting and 3-for-4 from three point land to help lift the Mustangs (3-20, 3-12 WHAC) to one of the best wins in program history Saturday (Jan. 26). Dunaj added six rebounds, two blocks and a steal to help propel the 64-57 upset over NAIA No. 17 Madonna University (16-7, 11-4 WHAC). Earlier in the week, Dunaj recorded the first double-double of his career after notching an even 11 points and 11 rebounds in a 61-50 victory at Lawrence Tech. Continue reading
