Students: Make a Difference! Become part of the MSGA!

Dear Future Leaders:

Are you ready to engage students in positive change in our community?
Are you ready to show your leadership ability?
Do you believe that change comes when student leaders come together?
Do you want to be the VOICE of the Student Body?

IF YOUR ANSWER TO THESE QUESTIONS IS YES….THEN CONSIDER A LEADERSHIP ROLE IN THE Marygrove Student Government Association (MSGA)!*

The MSGA shall serve as the represented voice of the student body; facilitate communication between the administration, faculty, and the student body; promote student involvement in campus life; organize, govern, and protect those areas which affect the student body.

The following undergraduate positions are up for reelection in March 2012:
(Students with less than 30 credit hours and Graduate Students are not eligible to run for undergraduate offices)

President
• Must have a 3.0 G.P.A. and be in good standing with the college

Vice-President
• Must have a 3.0 G.P.A. and be in good standing with the college

Treasurer (Finance)
• Must have a 2.7 G.P.A. and be in good Standing with the college

Secretary
• Must have a 2.7 G.P.A. and be in good Standing with the college

Possible positions for appointment by the elected officers are Chaplain, Director of Communications and Parliamentarian.

If you are interested in running for these respective offices, please complete an application (contact ghoward@marygrove.edu for a copy) and return it to the office of Student Engagement and Leadership located in the Student Center, room 109 by the close of business March 15, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. A copy of your resume is strongly suggested.

More information regarding the actual timeline and process will be provided at a later date.
