Men’s Lacrosse Added to Marygrove College’s Athletic Slate

horseheadMarygrove College recently announced the addition of their fourteenth sport, Men’s Lacrosse, as part of a growing athletic program that is set to join the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletic’s (NAIA) Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) next year. Men’s Lacrosse will be added to the slate of offerings on Marygrove’s northwest Detroit campus in the 2012-13 academic year with competition beginning in Spring 2013. Continue reading

Four Families from Angel Tree Still Need our Help!!!

Last night’s Angel Tree party was a huge success!  Marygrove hosted 30 parents and children from Peggy’s Place and Interim House.  Everyone played games, made santa faces, reindeer hats, sang songs and shared the story of Christmas with the families gathered.

However, as we were cleaning up to leave last night, four additional families from Interim House showed up and we had nothing to offer them.  Continue reading
