Women’s Basketball senior forward Keara Marks (Detroit, Mich./Renaissance) became the third 1,000 point club member in the history of the women’s basketball program after netting 22 points in a road conference loss to Madonna. The 22-point outing was followed by an impressive 35-point effort in the team’s first game in Montana over the holiday break. The 35-point performance was a career-high for Marks as she attempts to become the program’s all-time leading scorer by season’s end. Marks is approximately 250 points shy of the record of 1,324 points set by former Mustang great, Amanda DeGain.
Marks was honored for reaching the milestone before a recent home game against Lawrence Tech.
