Florent Gillet Residence Hall Resident Assistants and Black Student Union would like to extend an invitation to attend a “Black History Month Unity Dinner.”
The dinner will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 6:00 PM- 8:30 PM in the Madame Cadillac Main Dining Hall.
The purpose of this unique event is designed to explore the historical significance of African American cuisine and its influences on the family and culture, as well as the importance of community development, leadership, and unity. Co-founding member of The Detroit 300, Teferi Brent, has been invited to deliver the keynote address focusing on Unity.
