The Martin Luther King, Jr. Service Day will take place on Jan. 21, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
The bus(es) will leave from in front of the Madame Cadillac building at 8:30 a.m. and travel to St. Leo’s Soup Kitchen.
Marygrove Students, Faculty and Staff will prepare and serve lunches and distribute winter clothes.
At Noon the group will travel to Central United Methodist Church and attend the Rally and March.
The theme of the Rally and March this year is, “Jobs, Peace & Justice.”
We will return to the Marygrove Campus about 3:30 p.m.
Transportation and Lunch provided.
This service day will fulfill the service learning requirement for the IS-100 course.
